ESIC Pay Scale of MTS UDC Stenographer
As mentioned in advertisement for these posts, the pay scale of Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Stenographer is Pay Level 4 Rs. 25500-81100 as per 7th Central Pay Commission and that of MTS posts is Level 1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900).
The starting basic pay of UDC & Steno in this pay scale is Rs. 25500 per month. Starting basic pay of MTS is Rs. 18000. In addition to this, candidates will be given DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time.

- Cash In Hand Salary : Rs. 26400-29400 per month
Allowances:
Dearness Allowance: 50% of basic pay
House Rent Allowance:
- 27% for X category city (Metro Cities) (minimum Rs. 5400)
- 18% for Y category city (minimum Rs. 3600)
- 9% for Z category cities (minimum Rs. 1800)
Other allowances like Transport allowance, CCA, Special pay (if applicable) etc. as per rules of ESIC.
For UDC posts, candidates need to have degree with computer knowledge. For Steno posts, candidate should be 12th or equivalent with dictation / transcription speed as mentioned in advt. For MTS posts, candidate should be 10th / matric pass.

It includes maintaining registers, cashbooks, files and reports, accounts, data processing etc. They can be promoted to Assistant after some years of service and then to Social Security Assistant.
