Starting basic pay on new appointment on this post is Rs. 20700/- per month. Various allowances are to be added to this basic pay to form total salary of the post in a month.
RBI Assistant Salary 2024 per month & Allowances
As per latest notification of RBI Assistant 2023, the starting salary adding all allowances comes to be approximately Rs. 47849/- per month.
Candidate is given various allowances i.e. DA, HRA, CCA, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time.
Allowances, Benefits and Career Prospects:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Transport Allowance (TA)
- City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) etc.
The rates of these allowances are revised from time to time.
House Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to employees additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation. HRA will not be given if Bank accommodation is provided. Also, candidate is given various benefits such as vehicle maintenance expense, newspaper, book grant, briefcase, residence furnishing. Candidates is given medical expense (depending on eligibility) and Dispensary facility.
Festival advance is given on which no interest is to be paid by the candidate. Loan and advances are also provided at concessional rates for car, education, pc, housing, consumer articles. The posting of candidate is done in the RBI office within that zone which candidate has mentioned in his/her application. However, they can be transferred to other zone if required. There are reasonable prospects of higher grade promotions.
